Public order crimes also known as public order offences refers to illegal activities that disturbs peace and order in a community. These offenses are often considered to be offenses against the aggregate prosperity of society rather than specific individuals. Usually these types of crimes are non violent. But these types of crimes have potential risk to public safety and the function of a community. Laws for public order crimes vary across jurisdictions.
